Should Nia Jax Win the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania?
By Jack Clayton
For the past two years, Nia Jax has arguably been one of the most dominant women on the Raw roster.
While she has yet to win a title in WWE, her time will soon come, and what better place for it to happen than on the Grandest Stage of Them All?
As of lately, Jax has been feuding with real life best friend Alexa Bliss. This comes after Bliss turned her back on Jax and became friends again with Mickie James. Not only that, but Bliss was caught saying that she only used Jax to get to where she was, and doesn’t need her anymore.
It is an interesting feud, but a feud nonetheless. It manages to turn Jax into a sympathetic babyface, as well as keep Bliss as mean girl type heel.

But the question then becomes should Jax go on and win the Women’s Championship at Mania? If WWE were to book things right, then she would.
Now that Asuka has seemingly jumped from Raw to SmackDown Live, the Raw Women’s Championship is up for grabs. And even though Jax lost to Asuka at Elimination Chamber for a spot in the Raw Women’s Title match, now that Asuka is gone, that spot is all but void.
This is the perfect opportunity for Jax to squash Bliss and win the title. For one, it shows that Bliss, while a great heel champion, is a cowardly champion, and can’t defend it on her own. Secondly, it allows Jax to fully go on a path of domination.
For months, or even a year, Jax can work her way to become one of, if not the most dominant women’s champions in WWE. Not only does this not tamper with Asuka’s perfect streak, it allows other women to step up and challenge Jax, and ultimately fail.

WWE has something valuable with Nia Jax. If they do things right, they have the Braun Strowman of the women’s division in Jax.
WWE has never really had someone like Jax before in the women’s division. As her theme song says, “she’s not like most girls”. In the time that WWE has evolved the women’s division to nearly the same heights as the men’s they have yet to have a champion to deliver squash matches. That’s where Jax comes in.

2018 can very well become the year of Nia Jax. Last year it was Alexa Bliss, and the year before it was Charlotte Flair. But now it is time for the Irresistible Force to make a name for herself as Champion. And to make the most impact, her championship reign needs to start at WrestleMania.
