Impact Wrestling Featured the Return of the Monster’s Ball
After last week’s disappointing show, we start the takeaways with one of the more confusing moments from a week ago. Josh Matthews is the spiritual adviser to Matt Sydal and Sydal was awarded a new mask. Tonight, Sydal defends the X-Division Championship against Rohit Raju for the first time since revealing the identity of the origins of his third eye.
Sienna makes her Impact Wrestling return tonight in a Knockout’s Championship match. This is the first title defense for Allie since she won the title at Cross Roads. Allie and Sienna have been rivals for most of their time in Impact Wrestling. This one is set to go back and forth since the two know each other so well. Will Allie be able to retain against the dominant Sienna?
The two monsters, Abyss and Kongo Kong, battle in the main event a Monster’s Ball. Kongo Kong has been trying to prove that he is the new monster of Impact Wrestling since he debuted during the GFW merger. He is finally face to face with the returning original monster in a match that Abyss made famous. The main event is set to be brutal between these two.
The Feast or Fired match was last week and we have four winners from the match. Moose, Ethan Carter III, Petey Williams, and Eli Drake all retrieved cases. Tonight, the results will be revealed allowing Impact fans to see who got what case. Although, one is obvious, it seems like the rest could be up for grabs.
