WWE WrestleMania is the biggest show that pro wrestling has to offer, and each year the spectacle gets even bigger.  In recent years though, two WrestleMania events have stood above the rest, and that is WWE WrestleMania 30 and WWE WrestleMania 31.

This year I will be attending my sixth straight WrestleMania, and while WWE WrestleMania 34 as a whole might have more hype than any previous WrestleMania I can’t help but reflect upon the previous five that I have attended.  Out of those five events WrestleMania 30 and 31 were in a class of their own.

Whenever I talk with my friend Brandon who has attended each WrestleMania with me, we eventually find the one thing that we disagree on.  In this case he believes that WrestleMania 31 was the better show, whereas my heart is tied to WrestleMania 30.

To be clear both of us have agreed that this is a splitting hairs type of debate, but it gave me an idea.  To truly figure out which WrestleMania was the best of the two, I should watch both events and rate each segment from the main card and then average it out.

Determining ratings for each major segment or match can be scored on match quality, hype, sensible booking, or shock.  Obviously how a promo segment is scored will have a separate criteria than a regular match.

Remember this is opinion based and my grading is based off of my emotional reaction to each segment and match.  Without further ado, let’s take a look first at WrestleMania 30.
