Winner Take All Main Event Between Austin Aries and Matt Sydal

Austin Aries issued a challenge to Matt Sydal for the Impact Wrestling World Championship.  Since Aries has won the X-Division Championship six times, he thought it would be fitting that another championship be on the line.  Aries challenges Matt Sydal to a match for the Grand Championship that Josh Matthews was given a few weeks ago and winner takes all.

The match starts off technical between two of the awesome wrestlers.  Everyone watching knows that this will not be a slow match for long.  These two have been in matches before and know each other very well.  Early in this match there were plenty of reversals as no one can establish firm control.  Matthews continues to pace back and forth considering how the pendulum continues to sway.

Aries finds his offensive momentum but it doesn’t last long as Sydal fights his way back.  The reversals were beautiful in this match as  some of the moves that rarely get countered were in this match.  Suicide dives from Aries and the standing moonsault of Sydal to name a few.  It just shows the back and forth nature of this match between two of the best.  Sydal turns up him aggressiveness as Josh Matthews gets involved but Petey Williams evens the odds.  Although it saved Sydal a couple of times, he couldn’t overcome A Double, Austin Aries.  Aries becomes the Grand and Global Champion after defeating Matt Sydal.
