WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: AJ Styles With His Own Mindgames

This is the last episode of WWE SmackDown Live before WrestleMania 34, and both the WWE Champion AJ Styles and the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will be competing tonight.

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will write the next chapter of their story at WrestleMania 34, as Nakamura will try to take the WWE Championship off of The Phenomenal One after defeating 29 other superstars at the 2018 Royal Rumble. Nakamura’s Rumble win was a departure from the WWE going with the “safe” winner, because while Shinsuke is an established star globally, he hasn’t even held a title on the main roster yet.

On Sunday, Nakamura and Styles are expected to have the best match on a stacked WrestleMania card, and it will be interesting to see where they are positioned on the card. Conventional wisdom states that Roman Reigns’s coronation match against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title, which is seen as WWE’s top belt now, will be in the main event.

But others will argue that the Rumble winner should be in the main event and that it will be extremely difficult  for anyone to follow a match between Nakamura and Styles, given what they accomplished in the past at Wrestle Kingdom.

Either way, this match sure has fans hyped, even if it isn’t the “big draw” on the card.
