WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: AJ Styles With His Own Mindgames
Charlotte Flair Gets Her Win Back
Last night on Raw, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins went head to head for the third time this year and for the second time since the two of them began feuding over The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship. After Balor defeated Rollins a couple of weeks ago via a roll-up following a superplex (Seth was looking for the Falcon Arrow combo), Rollins got his win back via “The Stomp”.
I expect something similar tonight on SmackDown Live. A few weeks ago, Charlotte Flair and Natalya tore the house down in a lengthy match that was received well by the fans and featured some seriously impressive power moves. Natalya and Charlotte have great chemistry, and I expect the WWE to let these two have another great TV match, especially since there doesn’t seem to be all that much planned for tonight’s episode.
Since Natalya defeated Charlotte recently via a fluky roll-up that came after Flair was somewhat distracted by Carmella’s cash in attempt, I fully expect The Queen to get her win back. I could see Charlotte making Natalya tap via the Figure Eight, as a win by submission would make her look especially good heading into her WrestleMania 34 bout against Asuka, whose bread and butter are devastating submission holds (she made Mickie James tap out last night, too).
