WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: AJ Styles With His Own Mindgames
Daniel Bryan Saves Shane McMahon
There’s no doubt that Daniel Bryan is the best thing about SmackDown Live right now, and his speech about no longer wanting to sit in board meetings while wearing a cardigan was fantastic. Bryan has single-handedly breathed new life into the show after his in-ring return was announced, and it will be exciting to watch him back in action at WrestleMania.
His tag team partner against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be commissioner Shane McMahon, who was recently hospitalized due to an infection that resulted from “acute diverticulitis”.
Thankfully, Shane appears to be fine, and the indestructible and fearless SmackDown Live commissioner will be back on TV tonight to address the fans.
Not only will this serve as Shane’s way of formally accepting a match against KO and Zayn as Bryan’s tag team partner, but it will also serve as another opportunity for the “fired” duo of Zayn and Owens to attack a vulnerable Shane O’Mac.
But Bryan will swoop in and save his tag team partner, running around the ring and hitting Owens and Zayn with a barrage of strikes and knees. He’ll get a massive pop, but it will pale in comparison to the pop he receives at ‘Mania when he leads his team to victory against a pair of miscreants who have run roughshod over his show for months.
