WWE NXT takes its last stop on the road to Takeover: New Orleans this week. Will the brand have any last minute surprises in store?

WWE NXT Takeover: New Orleans is quickly shaping up to be one of the finest events in the brand’s history. Taking place on Saturday night, the show is considered by many fans to be the most exciting wrestling event of the weekend, which is quite the achievement considering WrestleMania is taking place only 24 hours later.

With only 3 days to go before the big event, NXT still had the matter of deciding the winner of The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on this week’s show. The unlikely team of Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne were scheduled to take on The Authors of Pain, with a shot at The Undisputed Era’s tag team titles on the line at Takeover: New Orleans.

Elsewhere on this week’s show, Killian Dain and Lars Sullivan would go one on one in a battle of the big men in the main event. These two men will share a ring at Takeover, as they compete for the brand’s first ever mid-card title, the North American Championship– would their fellow competitors find a way to get involved in their match?
