WWE Rumors: Is The Undertaker In New Orleans For WrestleMania 34?

For weeks, John Cena has pleaded for the Undertaker to accept his challenge for WWE WrestleMania 34, and he’s been stood up week after week. Frustrated, Cena went as far as to call ‘Taker a “coward”, but the Dead Man still didn’t respond. Will this match happen?

The WWE has teased a match between John Cena and the Undertaker at WWE WrestleMania 34 for over a month, which means that it would be a shock if they pulled out the rug from underneath the fans and didn’t deliver on this match.

There’s been some speculation that this bout could either occur at WrestleMania 34 or WrestleMania 35, with WrestleMania 34 being the launching point for a feud that is built over a year. Either could work, but with how heavily this match has been teased and how savage Cena has been in his promos, most people expect this match to happen tonight.

PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson reports that the Undertaker has been seen in New Orleans, indicating that it is essentially a guarantee that he will make an appearance tonight. Whether that appearance leads to a match with Cena or not remains to be seen, but it will be exciting to find out how the Undertaker makes his presence felt tonight.

There’s also the question of the character the Undertaker will portray. More people are familiar with the traditional Undertaker character, but he did leave his ring gear in the ring last year at WrestleMania 33 after losing his “retirement” match to Roman Reigns.

This, in addition to Kid Rock’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame this year and Cena’s callout of the Undertaker as a “Dead Man Walking”, has led to speculation that he could be the “American Bad Ass” in a feud with Cena.
