WWE Raw 5 Predictions: Charlotte Flair Returns To The Red Brand
Bayley Beats Sasha Banks, Stays On Raw
This match could go one of two ways, but I’m fairly certain that the stakes with this one-on-one contest between these two familiar foes will be something related to the Superstar Shakeup. While I could see Bayley and Sasha Banks tying, essentially protecting both, and moving together to SmackDown Live to continue the latest chapter in their story, the WWE already pulled a “draw” with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on Raw last week.
Therefore, I think Bayley beats Sasha. Again. I know it isn’t ideal, but Bayley still needs the win more as the babyface. I also believe that because Bayley won, her “reward” will be staying on Raw, which necessitates her winning in order to maintain her status on a brand that figures to be even more stacked with its Women’s Division. Part of that is because Raw is three hours long and has more time for its Women’s Division, allowing it to carry more women on the roster than SmackDown Live does.
I also think that Bayley pulling off a fluky victory would allow Sasha to confirm her heel turn. I’m not necessarily sold on Sasha turning heel, particularly with how popular she is and how much merchandise she can push, but I’m 100% sold on her moving to SmackDown Live. Nothing good can come of keeping her on Raw, and that becomes abundantly clear if Charlotte Flair joins Ronda Rousey on Raw.
