The Demon’s Dance Makes Its Debut on a Pretty Ordinary Impact

After an stacked show last week, tonight’s show was not up to par.  It began with Moose versus Sami Callihan.  Last week, Ohio Versus Everything costed Moose his World Title briefcase in a match against Eli Drake.  Moose looks for his revenge against the vocal leader of the outlandish group.  Will the numbers continue to haunt Moose in this grudge match?

Josh Matthews makes his return to the ring in a match with Petey Williams.  Williams is the current number one contender for the X-Division Championship.  He also costed Matthews his Grand Championship when Sydal battled Austin Aries.  With Matthews stepping back into the ring, there’s no true expectations to how this match can go.  Can Matthews get the upset with protégé Sydal by his side?

The main event features a demon’s dance by two of the top women in the Knockout’s Division.  Rosemary faces off against Taya Valkyrie in a match where the rules are practically out the window.  These two have been battling in a personal rivalry for months.  It all looks to be settled as they have two tickets to the dance.

Two weeks ago, Wrestle Con invaded New Orleans.  For the first time ever, Impact Wrestling hosted a joint show with Lucha Underground.  Two major wrestling companies coming together is odd in this day in age where everyone seems to be competing.  This could be a sign of things to come for the wrestling business.  Overall, it marked a historic occasion for two of America’s top wrestling promotions.
