4. Sanity

Apologies are due here, because I’ll never learn how to stylize their name correctly. I mean, it’s sort of like Blind Melon, and after botching that band’s name more than I’d care to admit, I’ll leave the precise capitalization to the experts on Twitter dot com.

Sanity landed in the ideal spot, because they are joining an absolutely stacked SmackDown Live Tag Team Division. The Usos, The Bar, The Bludgeon Brothers, The Club, and The New Day are five of the best tag teams in the world today, and I could see Sanity putting together classic matches with any and all combinations of them. We could see a lot of multi-man tag matches on SmackDown Live this year, and they would all be captivating as hell.

The current SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Harper and Rowan (who comprise The Bludgeon Brothers), might just be Sanity’s ideal opponent. Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Killian Dain are more than capable of taking the fight to The Bludgeon Brothers, who have run roughshod over The Usos and The New Day over the past month or so.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Nikki Cross, who is arguably the most talented of the four members of Sanity. I hope there are big things planned for her, and I would have loved to see her lighting up the SmackDown Women’s Division last Tuesday night. But regardless, Sanity is in a good place right now, and they are a tight-knit group that strikes all the right notes.
