Impact Wrestling: Taya Valkyrie Will Challenge Allie For Title
Allie successfully thwarted the compulsive liar Braxton Sutter’s interference and Su Yung’s stiff challenge to retain the Knockouts Championship at Impact Wrestling’s Redemption 2018 Pay Per View. Today, we learned who her next challenger will be.
There’s little doubt that Allie is one of professional wrestling’s fastest rising babyfaces, and it’s been fun watching her grow as a champion on Impact Wrestling.
The current Knockouts Champion, Allie has become a big star in her division, and her successful title defense against the “Undead Bride” Su Yung served to cement her status as the title-holder.
Allie will face an even more difficult test, because Impact announced on their Twitter account that she will face Taya Valkyrie for the Knockouts Title tomorrow night on television at 8 p.m. ET on POP TV.
There’s little doubt that Allie should be able to retain here, but this will be a tough matchup for her. Taya is coming off of a win over Kiera Hogan at Redemption, and it was a pretty convincing win for the powerful master of the “Road to Valhalla”. That finishing move is one of wrestling’s most devastating, and you can ask Rosemary how it felt to take that move on the steel ramp.
Speaking of Rosemary, Taya lost her feud to The Demon Assassin, as she was piledriven through a table in their Demon’s Dance match a few weeks ago.
Taya will hope for a better outing against Allie on Thursday night, especially with the title on the line. But Allie has proven to be an excellent champion, and she still has some more challengers to go through before dropping the Knockouts Title to the right heel.

With Katarina Waters and Tessa Blanchard also joining the Knockouts Division following Redemption 2018, the title picture will only get more interesting in the coming weeks. Allie’s reign is shaping up to be an exciting one.
