Fantasy booking what a potential NXT Women’s tag team division could look like.

Within the past year, nine female superstars have been called up from the ranks of NXT to the main roster. Asuka, Ember Moon, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Sonya DeVIlle, and Mandy Rose, after all competing to some level of success at Full Sail University, have all made the jump. And with all this talent having moved up, one would think what is left in NXT would be severely lacking. However, with a hot new champion in Shayna Baszler and rising contenders the likes of Candice LeRae, Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai, and Nikki Cross, the NXT Women’s looks just as strong as ever.

With all the recent movement between the rosters, one would have to think that some other NXT female superstars would begin to come out of the woodwork. And if and when they do, what would be the best way to showcase them all? One thought would be to add a women’s tag team championship to the mix. Sure, the main roster with 25 women between the two brands might have a more robust cast of characters making a tag division an easier prospect, but the NXT roster may have a fighting chance of making it happen as well.

It may be a little far-fetched, but that’s why it’s called “fantasy booking”. Ahead is a break down of how an NXT Women’s Tag Team division could work and what team could be the next breakthrough superstars.
