6. Dolph Ziggler

5. Drew McIntyre

Another package deal with Ziggler and McIntyre, who aren’t even trying to hide the fact that they’re HBK and Diesel 2.0. A week after Ziggler shocked the world by bringing McIntyre with him to Raw by obliterating Titus Worldwide, they had their first match as a tandem and picked up the W over Titus and Apollo Crews.

I mentioned this in my Raw review, but the tandem offense utilized by Dolph and Drew is some of the best in WWE. I have no idea how long the two have known they’d be paired up, but they’ve wasted no time in working together as a single unit. You’d think they’ve been teaming together for years.

But why are these two ranked so highly? It’s pretty obvious that McIntyre has a rocket to superstardom strapped to his back right now. The promo after the match shows that he’s ready to take things up a level. Think of it this way: The last time Drew McIntyre had a match on Raw, he teamed with Heath Slater in a losing effort to Los Matadores. A week before that, he was pinned by El Torito. Yikes.

The Claymore Kick/Zig Zag combo is one of the cleanest, most impactful team finishers in all of wrestling. They can hit it on anyone, and from almost out of nowhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a Raw Tag Team Championship match in these guys’ future.
