A 50-man over-the-top-rope battle royal highlights the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble. Far fewer than 50 names have been announced, so who could be a surprise entrant?

On Friday, April 27, the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia hosts WWE Greatest Royal Rumble. For such a major, if not problematic, show, WWE is pulling out all the stops. A steel cage match for the Universal Championship is on the card. So is a four-way ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. In all, seven titles will be on the line, plus John Cena squares up against Triple H for the first time in nearly a decade. Oh, and Rusev will take on Undertaker in a casket match.

But the highlight of the event, as the name might suggest, is a Royal Rumble match. While the annual January Royal Rumble events feature 30-man Rumbles, GRR will feature a 50-superstar tilt. With so many (only male) competitors signed up for the match, it’s got much of the WWE Universe scratching their heads as to just who will be a part of the match.

To date, only 23 superstars have officially declared entry into the Rumble. Veterans like Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, and Chris Jericho will be joined by relative newcomers like Elias, Braun Strowman, and Mojo Rawley. Oh, and there’s some dude named Rey Mysterio entering — anyone heard of him?

With still more than half the field a mystery, let’s take a look way outside the box at three possible surprise entries. You know WWE is pulling out all the stops for an event of this magnitude, however socially awkward it may be. Who could show up in the Greatest Royal Rumble?
