6: Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas
NXT’s loss is Smackdown’s gain as Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas bid farewell to Full Sail this month for a move up to Tuesday nights.
Almas only made one appearance for NXT this month, and that was at NXT Takeover: New Orleans when he battled in a losing effort against new NXT champion Aleister Black. While the fact he only wrestled in one match should place him lower on the list, the quality of that match was unquestionable, and Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas’ contributions to Wednesday nights will be sorely missed.
5: Shayna Baszler
Shayna Baszler has been a one-woman wrecking ball since she arrived in NXT last year, and her reign of dominance was crowned with the NXT Women’s title at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.
Baszler and Moon put on an excellent match, with Baszler finally toppling Moon to sit atop the women’s division in NXT.
With Moon now having moved up to the main roster on Raw, Baszler is without a clear-cut challenger for her title, and she spent the weeks since her victory intimidating the rest of the division, most notably, Dakota Kai. Her character work in these segments has been excellent and she has quickly established herself as the most frightening women in all of the WWE.
