WWE: Jason Jordan Set to Return to Action Soon?
WWE Superstar Jason Jordan, who has been injured since January, is reportedly set to return soon.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that Jason Jordan is set to return to action within a WWE ring soon. Jordan, who has been out since January, is recovering from a neck injury. Upon having surgery for the injury, it was unclear how long he was going to be missing action. It seems that the recovery has went well, as he could be back as soon as next week.
Before injury, Jason Jordan was involved in a storyline that saw him as the son of Kurt Angle. Jordan was acting heelish in the role as time went on, and after an injury to Dean Ambrose, he replaced Dean as tag team champion. The direction of that story indicated that Jordan would eventually face Seth Rollins one on one, potentially at WrestleMania. Sadly, this did not happen as Jordan’s injury appeared to be worse than anticipated.
On February 5th, Jordan successfully had neck surgery and entered the recovery period. Jordan’s last appearance on television featured Kurt Angle telling him to go home and recover from injury. With how that ended, I am personally curious if that means we are going to see an eventual Kurt Angle vs. Jason Jordan program leading into SummerSlam.
Analysis
There are also questions concerning Chad Gable, since Gable is on Raw now. Will Jordan reunite with him? Will WWE drop the storyline that he is Kurt Angle’s son? Personally, I hope they will drop the story, as I thought it wasn’t clicking.
With that being said, if they do go the route of having Jordan wrestle Kurt Angle, I’m all for it. That match would be excellent, and Angle, despite being very beat up, is more than capable of having a great match.

Regardless of storyline direction, I am overjoyed that Jordan has recovered well from his injury. He is an excellent talent, and it is always a shame to see a wrestler go down with an injury. Thankfully, it seems like he’s back at 100%. Hopefully we will be seeing him on television again soon.
