8: Akira Tozawa

Itami’s partner, former Cruiserweight champion, Akira Tozawa just sneaks in above him due to the fact that he took part in an excellent singles bout with Kalisto on the April 10th edition of the show.

Tozawa may have come out on the losing end of this match, but like Itami, his performances have been so strong this month that it really hasn’t damaged his credibility at all.

With the 205 Live roster really starting to find its feet, Tozawa, along with Itami, is beginning to excel in the brand’s new tag team scene, and the duo is looking strong as potential first champions for the new division.

7: Gran Metalik

Like the two men before him on this list, Gran Metalik has spent the majority of April performing in tag team matches, matches which have often been the highlight of their respective shows.

Gran Metalik has been one of the most underused performers in the division since the Cruiserweight classic, and it looks as though he is finally starting to find his rhythm sharing a ring with Lince Dorado. His performances have been excellent and his team was rewarded with a big victory over Itami and Tozawa on the April 17th edition of the show as a result of that.
