Women’s Money in the Bank Match

Ember Moon vs. Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Natalya vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Sonya Deville

Ember Moon and Charlotte Flair have already qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match this week, but predicting the rest of the field is a little bit more difficult. I’d like to see Bayley qualify after Sasha Banks missed out, because it would add another layer to their frenemy storyline, which has, contrary to what some people think, been excellent.

Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss can never stray too far away from the championship picture, and I’d be interested in seeing her segments as a briefcase-holder. Rounding out the Raw field is Natalya, who excels in all types of ladder matches and would be an important contributor here.

On the SmackDown side of things, no big match would be complete without Becky Lynch and Naomi, who are two key babyfaces in the WWE brand. Mandy Rose recently picked up a shocking victory over Lynch, but that won’t last. Rose has improved by leaps and bounds this year, but Sonya Deville is the real woman to watch. She won’t be winning the briefcase, but she could add some brutality to this match as one of the most underrated female wrestlers in WWE.

Bliss seems like the safest pick here. As much as I’d love to see Becky nab the briefcase and maybe even turn heel eventually, I’ve been burned by picking Lynch before. So I’m not going to do it again. On the other hand, Bliss tends to get big opportunities and make the most out of them, and this feels like a match she could win at the last second while everyone else has beaten each other up.
