2. Allie (Knockouts Champion)

I LOVED the segment where Allie heard a knock at the door and received a creepy doll. I LOVED the music in the video package, the flashbacks to Su Yung putting Rosemary in the casket, and just about everything else about this program. All three women in this story are in a better spot because of this, and it is the best plotline in Impact Wrestling right now. These three are killing it, and Allie has looked like a tremendous champion.

Since Rosemary can’t wrestle for a while, I wonder when Allie will get her hands on Su Yung to avenge her friend. Allie already proved she’s better than Su after defeating her at Redemption. Meanwhile, Tessa Blanchard’s presence loom large. Because of this, Allie is in an interesting position as the Knockouts Champion, and this division is the most exciting it’s been in quite some time.

1. Brian Cage

It doesn’t matter who Brian Cage is facing or where he’s facing them. He’ll deliver a great match no matter what, and I’m always struck by how much he’s willing to sell for his opponents. Even though Cage is an absolute beast physically and athletically, he’s capable of making his opponents look like legitimate threats, and while you never actually get the sense he’ll lose the match, Cage does enough to make the fight worth watching.

That was the case in his match at Pro Wrestling NOAH against Takashi Sugiura this week. It can be difficult to make matches taped away from the Impact Zone seem important, but Cage’s “World Tour” has struck all the right notes thus far. He’s been able to not only showcase himself, but also showcase other performers around the world, strengthening Impact’s brand in the process.

Also, the fact that he has three finishers leaves room for some interesting future story-telling when he starts chasing after a title on Impact Wrestling.
