Bludgeon Brothers

The Bludgeon Brothers cut another creepy backstage promo, as the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions will wisely be protected from having any further matches. Their promo contained insults directed towards the Usos, so it will be interesting to see if these two continue to feud in the build up to Money in the Bank.

Paige Segment

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville confront Paige after Rose’s victory over Becky Lynch last week. Rose essentially demands that she should be in the Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating Lynch, but Paige explains that it wasn’t a qualifying match.

She does, however, give Rose an opportunity to qualify tonight. Deville and Rose are informed that they will both be facing Becky Lynch. Confused, Rose and Deville excitedly ask if they will be facing Becky in a handicap match. Paige says that it is actually a Triple Threat out, stressing that it is every woman for themselves. It sounds like she really wants to create a rift in “Absolution”, huh?

After losing to Mandy last week, Becky seems like a near guarantee to win tonight. She’s perfect for the Money in the Bank ladder match, she’ll get a massive pop if she wins, and she’s the lone babyface here. Deville and Rose will have an inevitable instance of miscommunication that Becky will pounce on. Or, at least, that’s my prediction.
