8. Ruby Riott (last week: 5)

After a pair of victories over Four Horsewomen Sasha Banks and Bayley, Ruby Riott has hit a bit of a rough patch. She was unsuccessful in earning a place in the Money in the Bank ladder match, losing a triple threat match last week. And this week, she led the Riott Squad into battle against Ember Moon, Natalya, and Banks — and her crew fell short yet again.

But the biggest thing going against Riott lately is that she was passed over for a championship match. You would think victories over Banks and Bayley would be enough to warrant a number one contendership. Instead, Ronda Rousey gets the title match, and Riott is left in limbo — out of the ladder match, out of the championship match. What’s next for one of the hottest new Raw superstars?

7. Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler (last week: 11)

McIntyre and Ziggler continue to move up the rankings with another stellar performance on WWE Raw, this time against MITB competitors Finn Balor and Braun Strowman. A victory, even if a little unclean, should do wonders for the development of their team. Dolph and Drew are absolutely on fire lately, and the Raw world is theirs for the taking.

Their promos are also pretty darn good. Drew speaks with such conviction that he almost completely wipes out the smarmy cockiness of Ziggler. I’d love to see them be more of an alliance and less of a team, just so each one could shoot for singles gold. But I’ll take what we’re getting right now, because it’s the best thing both superstars have done in a long time in WWE.
