Chad Gable

When the 2018 edition of the Superstar Shakeup was completed, there were a number of wrestlers who were moved without the big introductions and surprise appearances. Chad Gable was one of those people. He was moved from SmackDown to Raw which was announced on WWE.com and the promotion’s social media outlets. Raw picked up one of the best pure wrestlers on the roster who has been locked in a tag team while showing the potential to shine as a single’s star.

The time to get Gable over with the crowd would be to allow him to put on a MOY worthy candidate with Rollins. This doesn’t need to be a full time feud at this point in time, but that doesn’t mean the two men would not be able to give the fans a compelling story during one edition of Raw.

Imagine Gable and Rollins getting a twenty to thirty minute timeslot with minimal commercial breaks. That type of focus would allow these two to give fans watching on television a match that would be equal to any main event that’s occurred on PPV this year. Gable isn’t a point in his development in which he could run with Rollins in a full on storyline, so he shouldn’t be the man to go over in this match, but this pairing would shine the light on the fact that he’s ready from a wrestling stand point to challenge for a “mid-card” title.

Now is the right time for Chad Gable to “get the rub” from a big name opponent and Rollins’s open challenge is the perfect door to walk through.
