Seth Rollins: 6 Surprise Opponents For IC Title Open Challenge

Neville has been off of television since walking out of the organization in 2017. The “King of Cruiserweights” was a member of the main roster before being moved over to the 205 Live brand. Before that point in his career, Neville showed that he can carry a roster as he was one of the top NXT champions to date. While a member of the main roster he had a number of great matches, but never broke through to become a challenger for any title. He and Rollins even had a great match when Rollins was the champion on an edition of Monday Night Raw.

Rollins and Neville have both grown substantially since their time in NXT. They’ve developed both as wrestlers between the ropes and with their characters. If the WWE can even convince Neville to return to their ranks he should have an immediate place on the main roster, instead of going back to 205 Live. Bringing Neville back as a surprise opponent for Rollins would be the perfect way to welcome him back. Neville left the organization because he wasn’t happy with his status in the company. Welcoming him back with a match and potentially a series of great matches with the hottest man on the roster would help push Neville in the right direction.
