Naomi vs. Sonya Deville

For the most part, Sonya Deville uses her grappling background to keep Naomi grounded, using a combination of takedowns and holds. But when the match picks up, Deville and Naomi trade kicks, including one spot where the duo kick each other at the same time before flooring each other with big kicks.

Naomi picks up the win with a clever roll-up, punching her ticket to Money in the Bank. Naomi will join Charlotte Flair, Lana, and Becky Lynch as the four participants in the women’s ladder match on June 17.

Match Rating: 2.25, decent match, but nothing special. The finish came out of nowhere, and I felt like this match could have been produced in a way that showed off the strength of these two performers better. Nevertheless, it wasn’t bad by any means, and Naomi will be awesome in that ladder match.

Jeff Hardy Interview

Jeff Hardy makes the neuroscience geek in me proud with all the talk about firing synapses, as he talks about how excited he is to face Daniel Bryan and potentially be in a big ladder match. Hardy says he’s fired up and that he and Bryan are about to damage the fans’ cerebrums with their match tonight.

And you know what? I’m fired up! I’m even more fired up than Jim Mora! Bryan vs. Hardy is gonna rock my world!
