WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 2.0

Sami Zayn vs. Bobby Lashley

Neither Sami Zayn nor Bobby Lashley qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match, and the two have been quarreling for weeks. Recently, Zayn and Lashley were a part of one of the worst segments in WWE history, and the less I say about this embarrassing and offensive segment, the better.

Lashley’s return to WWE on the Raw after WrestleMania was a big deal, because ever since leaving WWE, he became one of Impact Wrestling’s biggest stars. He improved on the mic and in the ring, and he legitimately became a wrestler that a company could build storylines around.

But so far in his second stint in WWE, Lashley has done next to nothing. He’s felt like just another guy in spite of his stature and athleticism, and the only promos he’s been allowed to cut have been objectionable.

Not only does Lashley need to destroy Zayn here, but he also needs to have a good match. WWE hasn’t given him opportunities to truly shine in the ring, and he needs to remind the WWE Universe that he is a solid wrestler in that ring. Impact did a great job of showcasing him against Brian Cage a couple of months ago, and they could similarly show off Lashley’s athleticism against an excellent in-ring worker like Zayn.
