2. Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson vs. The Usos

The SmackDown tag team division has reigned supreme over the WWE’s main roster tag team scene for several months now.  However, since The Bludgeon Brothers won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 34, not much has gone on.

Harper and Rowan ended The Usos’ chances of regaining the titles and have since not had any new challengers.  That all changed last night when The Usos battled Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for the right to challenge The Bludgeon Brothers at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view next month.

Despite the match not getting much time, these two teams crammed a lot of action in a five-minute or so battle.  The momentum of the match shifted back and forth and just when it looked like Jimmy and Jey had the match won, the Good Brothers turned the tide back in their favor with fundamentally sound tag team wrestling.

And in the end, Gallows and Anderson got the big win and will challenge The Bludgeon Brothers at Money In The Bank for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.  It seems highly unlikely they will win right now, but having Gallows and Anderson back in the tag team title scene is a long time coming after the WWE’s poor use of them for the better part of the last year.

The Usos and the Good Brothers did about as much as they could have done in a five-minute match and it was great to see these teams squaring off again.

Final Grade: B
