Jimmy Jacobs and Kongo Kong Backstage

Jimmy Jacobs rattles off some more BS about how he’s not a “bad guy”, as he attempts to convince McKenzie Mitchell and the Impact Wrestling audience that he is, in fact, a “good guy”. Jacobs then turns to Moose, and he says that he wants Kongo Kong to break Moose into pieces. He concludes by stating that he’s a princess (his nickname is the “Zombie Princess), meaning he always gets what he wants. We’ll see if Moose has anything to say about that.

KM and Fallah Bahh

KM and his nutrition/life coach/whatever business continues, and he’s zeroed in on a second client. Grado!

“If a fat-ass like Grado can get a woman like that, think for a second what you can get!” Yup, that’s exactly what KM told Fallah Bah.

KM then confronts Katarina Waters, wondering why she is going out with Grado. She makes the misstep of calling Grado “chubby”, but walks it back a bit by using the old “big boned” line.

Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray Dudley Retro Promo

I love these throwback clips, and you can never get enough of Bully Ray Dudley cutting a promo on Jeff Hardy. Bully Ray talking about how Jeff battled personal demons and saying “I am proud of you” to his face brought up some feels. Hardy, of course, is the current WWE United States Champion and just had a main event match on SmackDown Live with Daniel Bryan. That was the first time Hardy and Bryan squared off in their careers.

In this promo, Hardy spoke about how Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and Christopher Daniels (a who’s who of TNA legends) beat him down, yet he still remained the TNA World Champion. He said that he knows Bully Ray will bring the fight to him, and he says that no matter what happens at Lockdown, he’s also proud of Bully Ray.

The best part came when Bully Ray said that the only way he’s going to be proud of himself is if he beats Jeff Hardy, and he says he’s going to beat Hardy the old-fashioned way. With his best move.

Damn. I always forget how good of a promo Bully Ray is. I also forgot how SICK Hardy’s red kicks were.

And then Hulk Hogan comes out.

And then the Aces and Eights come in to brawl with Jeff and Bully Ray after Hogan finishes his little spiel. That’s when the retro segment ends.
