WWE Money in the Bank 2018: Ranking Women’s Ladder Match Chances Of Winning
2. Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks’s title reigns never last more than 27 days, as all four of her Raw Women’s Championship runs are the four shortest in WWE history. That said, Banks’s title wins are usually special, such as when she defeated Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam last year, and the moment when she cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase would be right up there with her most emotional title victories to this point.
It’s easy to forget just how good Sasha is at changing the complexion of a match or even an entire night, as evidenced by how much the Gauntlet Match picked up last night when Banks entered to take on Riott in the final two. Banks adds so much to this Money in the Bank ladder match just by being involved in it, and few wrestlers on the roster have done as much to earn the honor of holding the briefcase. And if the contract allows more of “The Legit Boss” to shine through, then that’s all the better.
1. Alexa Bliss
Earlier this year, Alexa Bliss picked up one of the most defining wins of 2018 by outlasting Sasha Banks and Bayley in the first Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Bliss’s “Twisted Bliss” off the pod was exceptional, and while Bliss gets criticized for being too cautious when taking bumps, she put it all on the line in the Elimination Chamber. After she won, she sucked the crowd in with a heartfelt promo, and then she crushed the crowd right as she had them in the palm of her hand.
That’s an example of what Bliss is capable of, and WWE has booked her as strongly as any wrestler since she first won the title off of Becky Lynch at TLC 2017. All Bliss has done is reward Vince McMahon’s faith with excellent acting, engaging promos, improved matches, and a hateable persona that still sells merch because she’s that dang good.

If it were up to me, I’d give the contract to a talented superstar who either hasn’t won as frequently or needs some more time before their first title run. But WWE has to think about their known commodities and the wrestlers who are the best at getting fans to react. Bliss fits the bill, and I consider her the most likely winner, especially since she is the only pure heel in this ladder match (Lana got cheered after beating a heel Billie Kay, so I’m not sure how much she counts as a heel).
