WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: Samoa Joe Imposes His Will And Wins

1. Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega Get Their Competition

In each of the past two weeks since debuting on WWE SmackDown Live, Andrade “Cien” Almas has been fighting in mere squash matches. Both he and business associate Zelina Vega clearly want to face some better competition in order to show the SmackDown roster that Andrade is one of the best around, but Paige (in storyline) has been putting him in these cookie-cutter matchups.

Vega and Almas are two fiery characters who will stop at nothing to get ahead, and they will take matters into their own hands if SmackDown management does not grant them their wishes for better opponents. I could see them attacking a member of the SmackDown Live roster in order to get what they want, and I really would like to see them go after Jeff Hardy.

Although Hardy is in need of momentum after losing multiple Money in the Bank qualifying matches, the United States Champion doesn’t seem to have anything to do. Almas won’t be rushed into a feud with Hardy, but it would make sense for Almas to take the title off of “Brother Nero”, perhaps sooner rather than later.

No matter who Almas faces next, I’m betting we’ll find out his next feud in short order, and he and Vega are clearly seething about the fact that SmackDown Live hasn’t exactly rolled out the welcome wagon for them.
