WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 3.0
The Bludgeon Brothers (c) vs. The Club For The SmackDown Tag Team Championships
I’m hoping that this match goes on for more than just five minutes, because Luke Gallows and Karl “Abs” Anderson (yes, I’m in love with that nickname) could really give Harper and Rowan a run for their money. The Bludgeon Brothers have been hijacking televisions backstage (huge security risk, by the way, Shane McMahon better buckle down on that whenever he comes back) to display weird, disturbing messages to Gallows and Anderson.
The Bludgeon Brothers are essentially guaranteed to win here, so all I can hope for is a competitive match. It seems like Harper and Rowan are being built up to lose to Sanity, whose call-up has been delayed for a distinct purpose. WWE appears to be high on Killian Dain, judging by his performance at WrestleMania 33’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and his work in WarGames, so a run with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships seems inevitable for Sanity.
Until then, the Bludgeon Brothers will attempt to demolish the Club, in the same way they laid waste to The Usos and The New Day at Fastlane and WrestleMania 34. The SmackDown Tag Team Division is absolutely stacked, and while it’s good to have Harper and Rowan at the top, I’d like to see them on television a little more often. After not having a title defense at Backlash, I hope they’re able to get some time to show out at Money in the Bank against one of the most experienced tag teams in the world.
Prediction: The Bludgeon Brothers retain
