WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 3.0

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Elias For The Intercontinental Championship

This match hasn’t been officially announced for Money in the Bank, but I decided to stick it on there. Seth Rollins wants to defend the Intercontinental Championship week in and week out, and he’s been taking shots at Brock Lesnar for how little the Universal Title appears on pay per view events and WWE television. As such, Rollins should defend the IC Title at every single pay per view, including MITB.

Last week on Raw, Rollins motioned for Elias to exit the ring after he failed to conduct a musical performance due to a hostile crowd. After Rollins beat up Jinder Mahal with a chair to end his Intercontinental Title match against the Modern Day Maharaja, Elias smashed a guitar over Seth from behind.

I think that’ll set up a match between these two at Money in the Bank. Rollins is set to win, no matter who he faces on the show, but a match between Elias and The Architect would undoubtedly be entertaining. Elias has steadily improved in the ring each month in 2018 so far since becoming a breakout star, and a match with Rollins would be his time to shine. The Drifter looks like a future Intercontinental Championship, so this match could plant the seeds for an eventual title victory.
