WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 3.0
Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
(Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Roode vs. Braun Strowman vs. Samoa Joe vs. Rusev vs. The Miz vs. Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, or Big E)
I’m still holding out hope for Xavier Woods to be the final man announced for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, though Big E seems to be the favorite for the match for a few reasons. Not only is the former NXT Champion the most likely to be a future world champion in WWE, but he also picked up the decisive pinfall in a six-man tag match against The Bar and The Miz via a sick tilt-a-whirl Big Ending.
Samoa Joe officially qualified for the ladder match by putting Daniel Bryan to sleep in a Triple Threat match that included Big Cass, who beat up both Joe and Bryan to open SmackDown Live. The well-spoken and intimidating Joe has to be considered among the favorites to win the ladder match, with Stephanie McMahon’s stooge Kevin Owens being an equivalent heel choice on the Red Brand.
Rusev and Finn Balor stand out as fan favorites who make excellent sleepers, but my pick remains The Miz. I really, really want to see a second briefcase run from him, but, more than that, I want to see him cash in on Daniel Bryan to start an epic WWE Championship feud between the two of them. That’s still my dream feud for the title, and I’d love to see that program develop over the course of 2018 and 2019.
Prediction: The Miz makes the briefcase AWESOME
