1. Samoa Joe vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass

The opening segment of last night’s show would go on to affect the course of the Money In The Bank pay-per-view featuring Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, and Big Cass.  Their interaction to open up the show led to a Triple Threat Match later in the night with high stakes.

Joe vs. Bryan vs. Cass was booked for the main event of last night’s show with the winner going on to fill the final spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.  Big Cass’s inclusion in the match threw a wrinkle into the plans, but it wouldn’t pay off in the long run for the seven-footer.

This match went back and forth for the majority of it with no superstar able to capture much of the momentum.  It looked like Bryan had the match in his favor towards the end, but Joe snuck up from behind and made sure he put the finishing touches on the match when he locked in the coquina clutch on Bryan.

Bryan passed out in the hold and Joe went on to win the match and will be the final participant in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.  Joe seems to have a real chance to win the briefcase and it could be the break his career needs to reach the main event level consistently rather than just a brief stint like last year.

The Samoan Submission Machine is headed to Money In The Bank after a very good match last night where he made The Yes Man go to sleep.
