8. Madison Rayne

Everyone wrote off Madison Rayne ahead of her match against Tessa Blanchard at Under Pressure, and I was most certainly included in that ignominious list of doubters. But with how dominant Blanchard is and her status as a potential up-and-comer in Impact Wrestling, anyone who chose Blanchard would be forgiven for making this mistake.

However, Rayne showed why she’s a five-time Knockouts Champion, and “The Killer Queen” rolled up Blanchard for a savvy victory. Rayne had to outlast some seriously vicious offense in order to pick up the win, showing great resiliency to last longer than the diamond herself. Although Rayne will likely have her eyes on the prize now that Su Yung is Knockouts Champion, Blanchard isn’t going away any time soon.

7. Tessa Blanchard

Speaking of Blanchard, I still have her ranked over Rayne, simply because I was even more impressed with Blanchard in the losing effort. She has such a presence in the ring, and so few wrestlers are able to command respect and hatred at that level. People legitimately dislike Blanchard, yet they can’t help but watch in awe as she chops her opponents in half. Blanchard exhibits such contempt for anyone who steps in the ring with her, and it allows all of her matches to seem important, even if the only thing at stake is pride.
