By Liam Hoofe
4: Ricochet (April: #8)
Those who were worried that NXT would mess up Ricochet can breathe a huge sigh of relief. The former NJPW and ROH star has been booked excellently since making his debut and he is really beginning to make a name for himself on the brand.
After his impressive debut in April, Ricochet has started his first program in NXT in May, and is set to go one-on-one with Velveteen Dream at Takeover: Chicago. Ricochet’s promo work has improved since his arrival on the brand, and it would appear that he quickly adapting to the ‘WWE’ way.
Thankfully, though, he has not had to tone-down his in-ring style, and he has been a regular performer on the brand through-out May. His performance in a handicap match with Velveteen Dream against Lars Sullivan was impressive, and his match with Chris Dijak was a joy to watch. He also gave us the coolest moment of the month, when he flipped to the outside of the ring to confront Velveteen Dream on the
of the show.

3: Adam Cole (April: #3)
Adam Cole is quickly becoming the MVP of the NXT brand. His Undisputed Era faction entered into a feud this month with Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch, and Pete Dunne and the feud has been a joy to watch.
The six men met in an excellent tag team match on the 16th May episode of the show, which The Undisputed Era came out on the losing end of, but Cole’s work throughout the month has been excellent.
The Undisputed Era’s backstage promos, which are quickly becoming a stable of the weekly NXT shows have been among some of the most entertaining segments on the show, and Cole’s character continues to grow and grow.
Cole has bags of potential and with the North American title around his waist, and The Undisputed Era behind him, he will no doubt fulfill it.
