205 Live was home to the WWE’s best matches throughout May.

205 Live’s renaissance continued in May, with the brand putting several of the WWE’s best matches throughout the month of May.

After showing the world what they were capable of at WrestleMania and The Greatest Royal Rumble, the 205 Live roster continued to shine in May, with Cruiserweight champion Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy putting on a match of the year candidate at the end of the month.

This wasn’t the only impressive match that took place throughout the month though, with several of the brand’s other stars taking in part in some excellent encounters.

The brand also hosted a UK special when the company were in the UK, and the show was one of the most enjoyable put on by any brand during the month.

In a very impressive month for the brand, which stars stood out the most though? Let’s take a look back at the month of May and power-rank 205 Live’s top performers.

10: Kalisto (April: #4)

Kalisto had an excellent month in April, and despite not standing out quite as much in May, the former US champion has still had a solid month.

Kalisto’s best moment came in a Fatal 4-way match with Tyler Bate, TJP and Kenny Williams on May 15th. While Kalisto may have failed to win the match, he was still an integral part of what was one of the brand’s best matches in May.

While Kalisto may have taken part in some great matches in May, he failed to register any victories, with his other match, a tag team match with Lince Dorado against the team of Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick, also ending in defeat.

Kalisto is still one of the biggest stars in 205 Live, and his history in the company means he will never be far from the title scene but he needs to register a few more wins to move back up the rankings next month.

9: Jack Gallagher (New Entrant)

Jack Gallagher is one of the most unique talents in the WWE, and his first two years in the company have not really managed to highlight that.

Despite having an impressive feud with Neville at the start of 2017, Gallagher has not really shown the WWE universe what he is capable of, and his character has struggled to find a place on the roster.

His recent partnership with The Brian Kendrick, however, looks to have remedied that issue a little, with the two men being among the stand-out performers on the brand in May. Their feud with the Lucha house party has provided the show with some fun matches, and it now looks as though Kendrick and Gallagher have formed an alliance with Drew Gulak, which is never a bad thing.
