WWE 205 Live Power Rankings: The Age of Alexander Continues
By Liam Hoofe
8: The Brian Kendrick (New Entrant)
Former Cruiserweight champion The Brian Kendrick has formed a nice little tag team with Jack Gallagher over the past month, and the two men look like they could rise up the card once again now that they are teamed with Drew Gulak.
Gallagher and Kendrick have spent the month embroiled in a feud with the Lucha house party, and they have put on some solid matches. They picked up a victory over the team of Kalisto and Lince Dorado on the May 29th episode of the show with Kendrick making Dorado tap-out, and it looks as though we are heading towards some six-man tag team action involving these guys in the coming weeks.
7: Akira Tozawa (April: #8)
Now that it looks like the WWE has gone cold on the idea of a Cruiserweight tag-team division, Akira Tozawa is starting to rebuild himself as a singles star on 205 Live.
The former Cruiserweight champion only competed in one match in May, a losing effort to Hideo Itami on the May 22nd edition of the show, but it was a nice reminder of what he is capable of doing in the ring, and hopefully, we will see him rise back up the singles ranks on the brand in the coming months.
