The June 4 edition of WWE Raw saw a few important developments heading into Money In The Bank in less than two weeks, but the show was a bit subpar at times throughout.

The first WWE Raw of June lacked in excitement throughout the show, but a few superstars gained important momentum heading into Money In The Bank as well as other feuds seeing new developments.

The red brand hasn’t been overly enjoyable as of late, but a good showing at Money In The Bank should help that out.  Let’s take a look at five key takeaways from the June 4 edition of WWE Raw.

5. Braun Strowman Keeps Looking Better Every Week

In today’s landscape of the WWE, it’s hard to look great week in and week out and often times, superstars are inconsistent in that category.  However, Braun Strowman doesn’t fall into that category and he continuously finds new ways to impress.

Strowman will take place in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in just under two weeks, but in the meantime, he’s been tangling it up with other participants of that match.  Last night was no different as he went one-on-one with Bobby Roode with both men looking to get key momentum heading into Money In The Bank.

The match itself wasn’t anything special, but it was a pretty good battle.  Roode tried his hardest to outsmart The Monster Among Men, but just when he thought he had accomplished this, Strowman had other ideas.  With a part of a ladder set up on the apron of the ring and another on the top of the barricade, Roode has successfully blocked off Strowman for a split second.

But that wouldn’t last long as Strowman broke the ladder in half with his hands in a shocking feat of awesomeness.  He would win the match shortly after and further display his dominance.  Strowman is a favorite in the Money in the Bank ladder match and his momentum in recent weeks only further backs that up.

The Monster Among Men always feels fresh and he continues to impress in different ways, just as he did last night.
