WWE 205 Live: Results, Grades and Analysis for June 5th
By Liam Hoofe
After stealing the show last week, Buddy Murphy was back in action against Mustafa Ali on this week’s 205 Live.
205 Live grabbed a lot of attention last week thanks to the incredible main event match between Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy. The two men put on a legitimate match of the year contender and will hopefully have managed to drag a few more eyes to the product.
Following Murphy’s defeat though, Alexander will now be in need of a fresh challenger to his title, and a main-event match on this week’s show between Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali would go a long way in establishing that. The two men have met twice before in 205 Live, with each man claiming a victory.
Elsewhere on this week’s show, Drew Gulak continued his mission to bring an end to the Lucha house party, as his new team-mate, The Brian Kendrick went one-on-one with Lince ‘Dorito’ Dorado.
Another man out to make a point on this week’s show was former Cruiserweight Champion, TJP. TJP has been on a mission to get noticed by 205 Live GM, Drake Maverick in recent weeks, and this week would see him take his quest to the next level.
205 Live has become the most entertaining hour of weekly television in the WWE over the last few months, so let’s take a look at what this week’s show had to offer us.
