Baron Corbin announces himself as the new “constable” of Raw

The positive side of me wants to give this a chance before I bash it, but I’m not going to wait on this one. I can already tell this is going to be awful. The Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon “feud” is laready so uninteresting as it is, so now adding Baron Corbin to that mix is not going to make me care about it more.

Corbin announced that he would be the “constable” of Raw, basically saying he’s going to speak for Stephanie McMahon when she’s not there. What’s the end goal of this? Who knows. Maybe it’s to set up a match with Baron Corbin and Kurt Angle. I’m sure that’s one of the dream matches we had for Kurt when he came back, right?

For me personally, I’m so tired of the typical Raw authority figure story line, dating back to when Mick Foley was GM when the brand split started. It’s always been Raw GM being undermined by Stephanie McMahon, and then eventually Triple H as well. Just not much reason to care for it, and adding Baron Corbin to that mix doesn’t exactly change my mind.
