1. Shinsuke Nakamura

For the fifth time since early-April, Shinsuke Nakamura will face off with AJ Styles and for the fourth time in that timeframe, it will be for the WWE Championship.  This feud has taken many unexpected turns, but the same result has stayed intact every time when the gold was on the line.

In three attempts to capture the WWE Championship, Nakamura has failed to capture the title.  While most of those failures were screwy finishes that weren’t legitimate losses, this seems like the turning point of the feud one way or another when the two bitter enemies compete in a Last Man Standing match.

The King Of Strong Style has been flourishing as a heel since WrestleMania 34, but it’s time to fully capitalize on that momentum.  Nakamura has only lost straight up to The Phenomenal One once and even defeated him on an episode of SmackDown in recent weeks, but if he doesn’t capture the WWE Championship, it will all be for nothing.

There can’t be any more screwy finishes here, Nakamura must win the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank.  If he fails to win it again, even if the finish is non-traditional, fans will stop caring about this feud.  It’s the only logical step remaining in a feud that has had its ups and downs and if Nakamura doesn’t win the gold here, he might never win the big one.
