LAX Looks to Get Revenge for Konnan
The Cult of Lee has been in the heads of the Latin American Xchange since they were Tag Team Champions. Since then, LAX has lost the titles and Konnan has been taking out. Lax looks to bounce back with their new leader, King, at ringside. Don Callus hit it on the head, that King could be the direction that Santana and Ortiz needs. LAX jumps on the Cult of Lee in the early goings of the match.
They looked to show off their incredible tag team abilities and are able to do so after a first halt by Caleb Konley. Trevor Lee takes advantage off of a blind tag as LAX was looking good. The gritty nature of Lee allows Cult of Lee to isolate Santana into their corner. Konley and Lee take away LAX’s biggest weapon which is their tandem offense.
A rolling cutter sets up Santana to finally get Ortiz back into the match. Ortiz comes in hot as he quickens the pace of this match. The tag team acumen of LAX comes into play as they are able to keep Konley in their grips. Lee and Konley are able to fight back with a little tag team offense of their own. The Cult of Lee go for the big move but it’s LAX with finally shot with a wheelbarrow Cutter. LAX finally gets a win with King at ringside after suffering a losing streak.
