The B Stands for Boring
We had the B team of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel going up against Heath Slater and Rhyno. The B team gimmick has been around for maybe a month, and it’s already overstayed its welcome to me. Nothing against Axel and Bo, at the beginning I liked the act, but I think they’re a victim of too much soon. Had the B team started off as a lower card act and worked their way up more, I think I would enjoy them a lot more. It’s a bit much for me though to see these guys who were a couple of geeks for the Miztourage a couple of months ago are now having a match for the tag team title.
There’s not really much to say about the match. It was short, Axel and Bo got the win, remaining undefeated since becoming the B team. This led to Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt interrupting to say they will “eat and delete” Axel and Bo. I could not possibly care less about Hardy and Wyatt at this point, and what a shame it is. I wanted to believe that since the two paired up it would give the two new life, but they’re still just another tag team. The only thing that makes them different than anyone else is that that they laugh a lot and talk weird. That’s it.
Wyatt and Hardy had such potential to something special here, but the lack of creativity has hampered them deeply. You can’t have a gimmick like these two do and not have more creative, different things going for them.
