Sasha Banks

The Women’s Money in the Bank match was a very enjoyable one. Not exactly a large field, but I thought this was the best Women’s Money in the Bank match out of the three that have taken place. Everybody played their part well. Naomi’s role was to show off her athleticism, Bliss’ role was to hang back and pick her spots to eventually get the win, and Sasha Banks role was to kill herself. A role she does quite well.

Banks took a lot of damage in this match with bumps on to the ladder and some to the floor. It’s something she’s known to do in big matches like this is just take as many brutal looking bumps she possibly can. This match was no exception to that. While Ember Moon also took some hard bumps, I think Sasha definitely took the most bruises away from this match.

For Banks, it would have been nice to see her win this match and be put in the role that Bliss was in later in the show, but nonetheless this was a great showing from her. Hopefully this match can help give her some momentum going forward and we can see Banks in more prominent story lines than the dreadful on-again/off-again best friend story line they currently have her in with Bayley.
