1. Daniel Bryan vs. Harper
The opening segment of last night’s show dealt with the interaction of The Bludgeon Brothers, The Miz, and Daniel Bryan from the previous week. Nobody knows exactly why Harper and Rowan took out Bryan in the gauntlet match, but the issues are ever-present between them and the leader of the Yes Movement.
Miz TV last night led to the main event of last night’s show that saw Bryan battle Harper while looking for revenge after Harper and Rowan cost Bryan a chance at the WWE Championship. These two former Wyatt Family members went at it and despite The Miz having a lot to do with this situation, he would be the last person on everyone’s mind after this match.
As expected, it was a stellar match between two great in-ring workers. Harper’s agile big man style was alive and well and Bryan’s crafty and technically-sound style was as well. But just when it looked like Bryan was getting the momentum to possibly win the match, Rowan got involved and began attacking Bryan to lead to a disqualification. The Bludgeon Brothers were attacking Bryan until the unexpected return of Kane.
The Big Red Machine took it to the SmackDown Tag Team Champions and after they were removed from the equation, Bryan stood in shock. The two would end up hugging it out and Team Hell No is officially back and will challenge The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules. This was a shocking turn of events that has the WWE universe buzzing.
