Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens: One Fun WWE Feud

Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens are on the eve of a very entertaining feud in WWE. The Monster Among Men has crossed paths with the self-proclaimed Prizefighter one too many times and it’s obvious that something is going to give.

That something is probably Kevin Owens, whom Braun Strowman may just break in half. Braun has no reason to trust KO and even less reason to tolerate him.

KO may have been looking for an ally but it looks as though he’s now made an enemy. But that’s a good thing for fans.

This is one feud that deserves attention. Strowman is accustomed to having his way with his opponents in the ring. No matter how strong a guy is and no matter how much he fights back, he typically cannot stand his ground against Braun.

Indeed, Strowman is a handful for any WWE Superstar foolish enough to try him. Braun is a powerhouse and he is as dominant as he looks. Many big men have come and gone in the company and some of them have suffered through some very poor bouts of bad booking. But this has not been Braun Strowman thus far.

Braun looks as though he can crush anyone that gets in his way and he usually does exactly that. He is a one man army and that goes with every time he steps into the ring. He’s a behemoth capable of inflicting major damage and that’s precisely how WWE uses him.

But for a guy the size of Braun Strowman, there’s only so much WWE can do to get him over. Once the feats of strength and displays of power have finished, what next? The easy answer is the most obvious one. Braun Strowman needed a personality so WWE gave him one.

WWE allows Braun to ease up from time to time and just have fun with it all. He has a great sense of timing, which seems to come very naturally to him. He also has a great sense of humor, which he uses to his advantage. Strowman manages to keep an icy cold expression yet somehow be the funniest man in the room.

This is what separates him from many monsters that came before. Braun is not a one-dimensional guy. He is getting comfortable in his own skin and it’s evident every time he’s on TV. With each passing week, Braun Strowman grows more and more into his character. He knows who he is now and he knows what he’s capable of. But he’s never really had an opponent like Kevin Owens.

KO is cut from the same cloth as Strowman. In fact the two are very similar in more ways than one. KO can also inflict damage to guys in the ring thanks to his inner rage and short temper. Owens also happens to have great comedic timing and a very dry sense of humor.

Owens is a heel but fans cannot help but cheer him on. They see how much fun he’s having and they know how entertaining he is. KO is a big kid playing the part of a tough guy and everyone knows it. He and Strowman have a lot in common.

They have so much in common that perhaps this new feud will end in a partnership. Strowman has been unapproachable and he‘s always distrusting of others. But if Owens keeps chipping away at him, then anything is possible.

If Strowman and Owens joined forces, they could become the most entertaining tag team in WWE. Their matches would be fun and their work together would surely always be on point. If Kevin Owens is ever to turn babyface, there may be no better way to make it happen.

However if that’s not in the cards, then the real fun will come from just watching KO trying to run and hide from Strowman. Braun beats nearly everyone put in front of him and he likes crushing guys that just cannot hold on. But Owens may be a different story.

KO doesn’t fight fair and he never has. This is the same man that betrayed both Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn, two guys KO thought of as his best friends. Owens had no qualms about turning on both of them. He took what he wanted and then he got rid of them. He may want to do the same to Braun Strowman.

But while Braun is not susceptible Owens’ tricks, he should be weary of KO’s tactics. Owens is a smarmy heel with purely selfish intentions and he will do whatever it takes to win. If that means grabbing a lead pipe and sneaking up on Braun backstage, then so be it.

If it means luring Strowman into a trap and somehow stealing away his Money in the Bank briefcase, then KO won’t think twice about it. Owens is in WWE to be the best and he is willing to do so by any means necessary.

Of course what makes KO a dastardly heel is the same thing that makes him fun to watch. He and Strowman are just beginnig of course but there is a lot to work with. It’s getting over. Both guys seem to be clicking. More importantly, the fans seem to be enjoying it and that’s what matters the most.
