The charismatic enigma and current WWE U.S Champion, Jeff Hardy is known for many things, and he is mostly known for his “extreme” behavior in singles and tag-team matches.

Whether it is being put through a table or jumping off a high 24-foot ladder, Jeff Hardy has done it. He’s Swanton-bombed off of ladders, off the top -rope, and even off the titantron 30-feet onto his opponent, Randy Orton! Jeff Hardy is the epitome of charismatic.

Nobody has matched up to Jeff, besides his brother, Matt; the iconic duo, no pun intended. Sorry, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay!

But, Does he have another WWE title run left in him?

The U.S Championship

Jeff Hardy returned to WWE with his brother, Matt Hardy at WrestleMania 33, where they won the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship, surprising everyone, even those who were participating in the match. Their title reign would last 64 combined days. Jinder Mahal brought the U.S Championship over from SmackDown to RAW, losing it that same night to the enigma. Jeff Hardy ultimately became a grand slam champion that night.

Later, Hardy landed himself as the newest member on the SmackDown Live roster during the Superstar Shakeup. He continues to hold open challenges, successfully defending the U.S Championship every Tuesday Night. His recent defense was against The A-Lister, The Miz.

If he were to drop the title, could that mean a WWE Championship opportunity was on the horizon?

The WWE Championship

On November 7th, 2017, The Phenomenal AJ Styles faced Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship and came out victorious, winning his first-ever WWE Champion. Plus, it would mark the first time a title change happen on SmackDown since September 2003. With all that being said, AJ Styles has held the WWE Championship for a consecutive 238-days counting. He’s faced numerous of opponents for his championship, even the King of Strong-Style himself, Shinsuke Nakamura in a last-man-standing match.

Jeff Hardy last held the WWE Championship at Night of Champions and lost it at SummerSlam to CM Punk. The night fans remember vividly was a tearjerker. On an episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Hardy faced CM Punk in a steel cage match for a WWE Championship rematch, the stipulation being championship vs career, in which Hardy lost and had to leave WWE. He made a promise that it wasn’t goodbye, and never broke that promise.

Now, it begs the question: Is Hardy ready for another WWE Championship match? If so, how would he square-up against AJ Styles?

AJ Styles Vs. Jeff Hardy For The WWE Championship

AJ Styles has become very territorial over SmackDown Live, claiming it to be is brand, along with the prestigious WWE Championship title. His in-ring technical abilities are what makes him phenomenal. However, AJ Styles has never faced Jeff Hardy in a title match before. We all know that the win counts more when a championship is involved, leaving Hardy to be more resilient than ever.

But it also raises the question: How long can Hardy go without any injuries or roadblocks in his way? Everyone wants a piece of the WWE Champion, AJ Styles. Everyone wants to show that they’re better than the phenomenal one. To get to the top, you have to go through everyone standing in line. Right now Jeff’s biggest challenge is Nakamura. With Nakamura in the way, the WWE Championship run will be on hold.
