We saw Angle wrestle twice last year in big matches, with the Survivor Series five-on-five main event, which included Angle getting whooped by long-time rival Triple H, being the second of the two. He first teamed up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to form an interesting take on The Shield, which included Angle in Shield merch.
This year, Angle, who continues to have problems as the GM “behind the scenes” with Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon, has wrestled in one huge match. He teamed up with Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie in a mixed tag match at WrestleMania 34 which received critical acclaim as the best match of the night.
